Give An Animal was created to encourage people to get involved in providing life changing gifts of animals to families in developing countries.

Animals have the ability to provide needed income, clothing and food for children and families. Many of us have been blessed with so much. We don't know what it is like to be in need, but there are millions of children and families around the world that are lacking food, money and adequate clothing.

Give An Animal t-shirts are a way of sharing the fun and unique ways to participate in philanthropy throughout the world.

Am I really giving an animal? How?
Your purchase includes the cost of the animal and the shirt. We partner with various non-profits throughout the world to provide animals to individuals and families in need.

Is my purchase tax deductible?
No. Give An Animal is not a nonprofit organization. Rather, we partner and support a variety of nonprofit organizations to provide animals to needy children and families.

Can I give an animal as a gift for a friend, relative, etc.?
Sure, at the end of your order you have the option of sending a gift card (birthday or other occasion) and gift wrapping the t-shirt for an additional $3.99

Does Give An Animal have a goal?
Give An Animal would like to provide 100,000 animals to children and families by August 1, 2010.

What part of the world are the animals given to?
Global poverty is particularly concentrated in Sub Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, but we will give animals in any one of the marked developing countries.

Where are the animals purchased?
Typically, they are found closest to the recipient's home.

Can I get a picture of verification of my animal being given?
Check out our updates (Twitter, Facebook, Email, RSS) for various pictures of the animal donations. Unfortunately, we cannot provide every individual with an exact picture of the animal they purchased - that would create an unnecessary administration expense - thousands of individual gifts are made each year. We trust some of the most reputable non-profit organizations to carry out the logistics of animal giving.

Is Give An Animal a trust worthy company?
The foundation of our company is to do as much good as possible. We run an efficient organization and look for non-profits who do the same. It is important that the money that is trusted to us is given to organizations who are optimize their revenue stream straight into programs (rather than management costs).
